Job Summary
Position Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Brooklyn NY 11235
Job Type: Contract Onsite
Schedule: 5 shifts per week 7.5 hours per day 37.5 hours per week (Flexible scheduling available)
Compensation:
Travel Assignment:$4200 per week
Local Candidates:$3400 per week
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Inpatient Pharmacistfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities
Prepare verify and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols.
Perform sterile IV compounding and maintain compliance with USP standards.
Review and manage medication therapy using EMR/pharmacy informatics systems.
Consult with physicians nurses and care teams regarding appropriate medication usage.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a licensed Pharmacist (inpatient/hospital experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems; sterile compounding experience required.
Systems: Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
Education & Licensure
Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Active New York State Pharmacist License (must be current and verifiable).
