Job Summary
A progressive Good primary in Peterborough is seeking an ambitious Year 4 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time contract from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will engage in pre-term planning prior to January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will benefit from a collaborative KS2 phase strong TA support and a leadership team committed to curriculum coherence from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver rich knowledge-based maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher.
Use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.
Lead cross-curricular projects extra-curricular clubs and contribute to subject development as the Year 4 Teacher.
The Year 4 Teacher will take part in moderation and phase review in the weeks before January 2026 and will lead pupil progress meetings after January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
QTS and strong KS2 experience expected of the Year 4 Teacher.
A Year 4 Teacher with excellent subject knowledge behaviour management and an inclusive approach.
Available to prepare before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
