A Good Peterborough primary is looking for a decisive Year 6 Teacher to lead an upper KS2 cohort on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 6 Teacher will be invited to planning sessions before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026. The role Year 6 Teacher
The Year 6 Teacher will design robust revision sequences lead SATs preparation where applicable and deliver high-impact interventions. The Year 6 Teacher will track progress carefully coordinate transition meetings with secondary colleagues and run parent information sessions beginning prior to January 2026 and continuing after January 2026. The Full-Time Year 6 Teacher will also mentor junior staff and contribute to whole-school assessment policy from January 2026.
Candidate essentials Year 6 Teacher
QTS and proven Upper KS2 experience required of the Year 6 Teacher.
Strong classroom leadership data literacy and excellent communication as the Year 6 Teacher.
Available for pre-term planning ahead of January 2026 induction in January 2026 and to teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 6 Teacher.
