Job Summary
ob Title: Maintenance Planner
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: 475 Green Oaks Parkway Holly Springs NC 27540 (CSL Behring site)
Pay Rate (if converted to FTE): $45/hour
Job Summary
Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to coordinate and optimize all maintenance activities within the utility plant of a cutting-edge biotech facility. Youll play a critical role in ensuring the efficient use of maintenance resources through strategic scheduling and planning while also supporting compliance process management and client collaboration.
This is a hands-on role that blends technical knowledge strong communication and organizational skills. Youll work closely with maintenance teams vendors and the client to ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship & Operations Management
Support the Facilities Manager with a variety of operational duties
Assign vendors and internal teams to maintenance tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently
Coordinate with client vendors to schedule and communicate planned and corrective maintenance activities
Perform basic preventive maintenance and inspections on utility assets and ensure accurate documentation
Work directly with client representatives to align maintenance schedules with facility operations including downtime and shutdown procedures
Compliance & Support
Assist with audit preparations and ensure maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate work order data and asset history within the clients CMMS
Scheduling & Process Management
Develop publish and manage weekly monthly and quarterly maintenance schedules
Lead scheduling meetings with maintenance teams and client stakeholders to plan and align on upcoming work
Determine safety and operational requirements for scheduled work and ensure all necessary precautions are in place
Support building automation systems asset documentation and preventive maintenance planning for utility plant operations
Administrative & Analytical Tasks
Serve as the primary point of contact for work order requesters
Track and report on scheduling effectiveness resource allocation and work completion metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business goals and facility performance
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance planning and repair activities preferably in a utility plant or building services environment
Experience managing vendor relationships and facilities operations
Background in facilities or contract management with a focus on client-facing environments
Strong working knowledge of CMMS and scheduling best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in engineering or a related technical field
Previous experience on a client-account in a regulated environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
Familiarity with utility systems building automation and maintenance documentation
