SetScout is a search and workflow platform for film and TV locations. We help productions find and evaluate locations faster with powerful search and simple tools.
The role
We are looking for a cracked UX/UI designer who cares about product quality and can ship. You will work directly with our core engineer and have real authority over design decisions. You will explore prototype test and shape the visual language and interaction patterns of SetScout on the web plattform.
This is a university mandated internship (Pflichtpraktikum). It is unpaid 10-20 hours per week 3 to 6 months with flexible scheduling to fit your semester.
Tasks
- Own product and brand design across flows components and patterns
- Turn requirements into user journeys wireframes and high fidelity UI
- Build and iterate design systems and documentation
- Prototype interactions and microanimations
- Collaborate closely with our core engineer to ship your work to production.
- Tackle interesting problems for example image heavy search filters comparisons and responsive layout challenges
- Help define SetScouts brand look and feel across marketing and product
Requirements
- A strong portfolio of UI/UX work that shows clear problem solving and craft.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g. Figma) and prototyping.
- Solid grasp of layout hierarchy typography accessibility and design systems.
- Bonus points: hands-on front-end engineering skills (React or similar use of AI coding tools like Cursor encouraged) Tailwind and CSS skills motion design
