We are looking for a Head of (Group Lead) Process Engineeringto guide and support a talented team of engineers and technicians helping to ensure the continued growth of our product portfolio through excellence in manufacturing and automation.

Tasks

• Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians fostering mentorship motivation and professional development
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production handover ensuring quality scalability and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with product development materials engineering quality supply chain and manufacturing engineering to translate requirements into robust and efficient processes
• Use data analytics and statistical process control to guide decisions and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement a process technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs

Requirements

• Masters degree in Engineering Physics Materials Science or a related technical field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in process engineering including at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse high-performing engineering teams
• Significant experience defining high-volume hardware manufacturing processes including automation of assembly gluing and optical inspection
• Expertise in DFM FMEA Gage R&R DOE SPC CPK and related statistical modelling techniques with a proven record of applying them to improve processes
• Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus
• Strong collaboration strategic thinking and planning skills
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication abilities with the capacity to convey complex technical topics clearly
• Business fluency in English; German is an advantage
