Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in San Angelo TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is a full-time evening shift position offering stable hours and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment following all safety standards.
- Evaluate images for quality and ensure proper documentation in the PACS system.
- Assist with contrast media administration including IV insertion as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists physicians and nursing staff.
- Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (required).
- Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- BLS Certification (required).
- MRT License from the State of Texas (required).
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification (required).
- Strong attention to detail communication and patient care skills.
