Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lumberton TX for a Refractory QA/QC Inspector. The Refractory QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met through inspections quality control and quality assurance tasks. Day-to-day tasks will include inspecting cast shapes metallic anchors welds fiber products and other elements of refractory installations & product manufacturing maintaining quality management systems and documenting findings. The inspector will work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure compliance with all quality standards.

Qualifications

Quality Control Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills
Experience with precast shape manufacturing module manufacturing and metallic anchors
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications or training in Quality Management and or API 936 Certified a plus
Experience in the refractory or high-temperature furnace industry is beneficial

Important skills would be as follows:

High understanding of refractory products (fiber modules castables refractory anchors) API 936 Cert is a plus but not required.
Good communication skills and documentation skills
Ability to read prints for manufactured products.
Able to read a tape measure (I really have to write that unfortunately)
