Position General Duties And Tasks :

• We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Lab Support Engineer with deep expertise in Windows operating systems hardware configuration virtualization and lab environment maintenance.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience supporting test environments managing lab inventory and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. This role is critical in maintaining a secure efficient and compliant lab setup for testing and development purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Install configure and troubleshoot hardware components including hard disks memory and peripherals.
• Install and maintain various software packages and monthly updates from MSDN.
• Manage VMware environments including creating VM images and snapshots in multiple languages.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on test PCs and virtual machines.
• Perform lab cleanup tasks including hardware removal and disposal.
• Set up and maintain network configurations including static IPs and physical network connections.
• Install and manage security certificates for web browsers and systems.
• Apply monthly Windows updates to physical PCs and VM images.
• Create and maintain file servers backups and restore files as needed.
• Maintain detailed lab inventory and ensure all systems are properly documented.
• Create and manage Ghost images for system deployment and recovery.
• Analyze bi-weekly Information Security reports and remediate reported issues.
• Perform automated test execution and basic scripting tasks (preferably using VBScript).
• Apply basic programming knowledge to support automation and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT support lab operations or infrastructure engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10/11 hardware installation and system configuration.
• Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and lab network setup.
• Experience with file server management backup solutions and system imaging.
• Familiarity with security protocols certificate installation and compliance practices.
• Basic scripting skills (VBScript preferred) and exposure to automated testing tools.
