JOB TITLE: Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Layton UT
PAY RATE: $26-27/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform production assembly operations on structural mechanical and electrical systems.
Obtain and maintain all required certifications.
Use a computer in a production environment.
Read and interpret technical work instructions drawings and specifications.
Use various hand and power tools (e.g. screwdrivers ratchets torque tools crimpers multimeters).
Perform self-inspection of work for quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Carry/lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities such as kneeling bending standing and walking.

Requirements:

High school diploma GED or technical certification required.
Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs).
Proficiency in Excel wiring and soldering.
Basic understanding of mechanical principles and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail safety and compliance.
Ability to read from computer screens printed drawings or technical documents.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Additional experience in wiring soldering and use of DMMs.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and aerospace assembly processes.
Experience working in a regulated production environment
