JOB TITLE: Senior Structures and Payload Design Engineer
LOCATION: Manassas VA
PAY RATE: $65-80/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Produce airframe structural configuration layouts and detailed designs
Create and maintain CAD solid models and drawings that meet all requirements
Review and check product structures and BOMs to ensure component integrity
Conduct design reviews and collaborate with other departments
Prepare presentations for program reviews
Work with composite and metallic primary/secondary structures
Support manufacturing liaison without handling shop tools

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred
Minimum 10 years aerospace industry experience
Proficiency in CATIA V5: Generative Surface Design Part Design and Assembly
Familiarity with aerospace composite industry standards
Experience with product data management systems such as Smarteam or Enovia LCA/PDM
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
US Citizen Green Card Holder or Permanent Resident
