Position: Lead II - Software Engineering

Location: Atlanta GA 30308

Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java-based applications
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases including DB2 and MongoDB
Work with front-end technologies such as Angular and JQuery
Write unit and integration tests using JUnit
Collaborate with global teams participating in code reviews design discussions and daily stand-ups
Utilize version control tools like Git/Bitbucket for source code management
Ensure high performance scalability and security of applications

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in Core Java development
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
Proficiency in developing Microservices and Web Services
Working knowledge of DB2 and MongoDB
Front-end experience with Angular and JQuery
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit)
Experience with Git and Bitbucket
Strong communication skills and ability to work in an onshore-offshore model
Willingness to relocate to Wallingford CT

Nice to Have

Experience with Spring Batch
Familiarity with Docker containers
Experience working with AWS Cloud platforms
Knowledge of Drools (business rule management)
