Senior Engineer Trading Enablement
The Trading Enablement Team is a senior engineering group focused on high-impact initiatives and urgent technical challenges that directly affect global investment operations. We are seeking an experienced engineer with a Computer Science degree and direct asset management experience-someone who thrives in complex environments takes ownership of escalated issues and contributes to strategic projects that are critical to the firm.
What Youll Do
Resolve high-priority technical issues by investigating unfamiliar problems researching solutions and collaborating across engineering and investment teams to ensure resiliency and stability.
Contribute to Global Multi-Batch a firm-wide initiative to modernize overnight processing and enable accurate start-of-day and intraday views of positions cash FX and analytics across global regions.
Work directly with portfolio managers traders and investment operations to design solutions aligned to front-office and middle-office needs.
Engineer across the stack-including APIs databases and services-to improve the reliability and scalability of trading and post-trade systems.
Share knowledge mentor peers and help continuously improve the teams engineering practices.
What You Bring
Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (required).
Note: Degrees in other disciplines even other engineering fields do not meet this requirement.
Hands-on experience in the asset management or investment management industry (required)-including familiarity with investment data trading workflows and portfolio or post-trade systems.
7 years of professional experience as a software or systems engineer with strong computer science fundamentals.
Proficiency in modern development (e.g. .NET C# or Java) relational databases and REST APIs.
Comfort working across unfamiliar systems and collaborating with both technical and business users.
Experience with Charles River Development (CRD) or similar platforms is a strong plus.
