Technology Solutions Architecture Advisor
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
Work Location: Remote but occasional meetings at the QC office (2-3 times per month)
Bilingual: Yes (English and French)
Tasks and skills sought:
- Translate requirements into solutions and ensure design-compliant deliveries for all aspects :
- System - functional and non-functional requirements component development selection and reuse integration; Technological - technical and non-functional requirements use of new design approaches (e.g. cloud mobility) security performance availability; Organizational - processes change management requirements (functional specifications) legal and regulatory obligations.
- Provide leadership in the governance of solution reviews and propose review and approve architecture decisions in accordance with corporate frameworks.
- Ensure that the solution is linked and integrated into the affected ecosystems in order to minimize potential problems and when likely or unavoidable propose pragmatic workarounds.
- Guarantee the integrity and quality of the solution from design to delivery (end-to-end) in particular through ongoing supervision and validation of requirements against test results.
- Maintain the traceability of architectural decisions certify the technical documents of the project and verify the updating of the permanent documentation affected by the works.
- Be responsible for the application of the methodological approach and the architecture process in force within the organization.
- With the support of the Enterprise Architecture team and in collaboration with it in order to preserve corporate alignments participate in the evolution and guarantee compliance with: prescriptive guidelines on enterprise frameworks processes the use of standardized tools standards and other architectural methods sanctioned by Enterprise Architecture. If necessary submit a request for exemption for exceptions.
Profile:
- 12 years of experience in information technology and a minimum of 7 years as an architecture professional in various projects and large-scale organizations (software and data).
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams composed of internal and external resources many times over.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks
- Experience designing high-volume high-availability applications and systems.
- Experience working with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) DevOps Agile methodologies MVP LEAN and ITIL.
- Proven knowledge of the financial services sector (banking treasury).
- Have participated in the selection evaluation and management of the relationship with suppliers of financial technology tools.
- Mastery of standards applicable to SOC2 and ISO 27001.
