Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Crisfield MD 21817
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Staff Physical Therapist the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatment programs as designed by the Physical Therapist supporting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or completion of a four-year technical school with up to two years of specialty training OR two years of college or comparable education.
Licensure: State licensure in MD or DE (depending on facility). Licensure requires 20 continuing education contact hours (2.0 CEUs) every two years.
Certifications: BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Experience: Previous experience as a PTA is preferred.
Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not provided.
