Position Title: | Heavy Equipment Electrician & A/C Technician | Job Grade | JG9 | |

2. JOB PURPOSE: |
Responsible for maintaining repairing and servicing heavy machinery and air conditioning systems used in Al Awalia’s operations. |
3. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: |
Reports To | Foreman |
Supervises | N/A | |
4. KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Operational: - Adherence to quality health & Safety Information security and business continuity policies.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on heavy equipment and A/C systems.
- Conduct inspections diagnose issues and test equipment for proper functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports.
- Manage tools equipment and spare parts coordinate with procurement.
- Identify process improvements and participate in training.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per business requirements.

7. PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: |
- Diploma in any relevant discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of similar experience is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose troubleshoot & repair electrical & AC issues on heavy equipment.
- Good command of English language.

Functional Competencies: - Wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of Air-Conditioning and Heating System
- Good knowledge of trouble shooting
- Wide knowledge in package and split and window type AC installation.
- Good knowledge of electrical spare parts and equipment
- Good knowledge of advanced tools such as computerized test equipment welding torches and hydraulic and refilling equipment
- Good manual dexterity including the ability to make precise finger movements and the ability to keep their arms and hands steady
- Good understanding of Qatar and GCC business environment
