Videographer and Content Creator (JB5693)
Location: Fourways Johannesburg
Salary: R45 - R75 000 per month (experience dependent)

Are you a natural storyteller who thrives behind the camera and in the editing suite Our client is looking for a Videographer and Content Creator who balances creativity with precision and brings energy to every project.
Youll use your skills in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve along with a strong grasp of sound lighting and video production workflows to craft compelling visual stories that captivate audiences. This role is perfect for someone with a strong portfolio in both short and long-form video work a flair for creative problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects.
This role is a hands-on creative role focused on video production editing and storytelling offering the chance to own projects end-to-end from ideation and scripting to filming and post-production. You will collaborate with a passionate team to bring clients visions to life while continuously experimenting innovating and staying ahead of digital trends in visual media.
This is not a desk-only or purely strategic content management role nor does it involve managing a team or department. Its a fast-paced hands-on position that demands creativity agility and initiative and it wont suit someone who prefers routine every project brings new challenges and opportunities to learn.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification or diploma in Film Media Visual Communication or Digital Content Production (advantageous but not strictly required if supported by experience).
4 years of hands-on experience in videography video editing and content creation.
Proven experience creating both short-form and long-form video content for social media corporate and marketing use.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Working knowledge of camera operation lighting setups and sound recording.
Understanding of storyboarding filming and post-production workflows.
A strong showreel or portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling technical skill and editing ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize plan and execute creative visual content from idea to final edit.
Research storyboard and pitch new content ideas aligned with brand and client objectives.
Film and produce high-quality video content for social media corporate communications and promotional campaigns.
Operate and maintain camera lighting and audio equipment to ensure professional production standards.
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished engaging final videos using industry-standard editing software.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to interpret briefs align on creative direction and deliver impactful content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
Stay up to date with trends techniques and innovations in video production and digital storytelling.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains visual quality across platforms.
Organize and archive video files and maintain equipment inventory.
