We are hiring a Staff Nurse Urology for our leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland. We provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are central to all we do.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
- Practice nursing according to the Code of Professional Conduct and within the scope of practice set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) maintaining professional competence and ethical standards.
- Support the Clinical Nurse Specialist in developing the Urodynamic/Urology Unit and assist in implementing best practice guidelines and standards of care.
- Provide advice education and emotional support to urology patients and their families ensuring they are fully informed and prepared for procedures.
- Deliver high-quality evidence-based person-centred care to an assigned caseload assessing planning implementing and evaluating care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in line with professional and organisational guidelines.
- Participate in clinical audits governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to infection prevention health safety and risk management policies ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting in other clinical areas when required and contributing to service integration.
- Engage in continuous professional development through mandatory training reflective practice and participation in performance reviews.
- Promote patient advocacy dignity and respect in all interactions ensuring care is delivered with empathy professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Requirements
- The Staff Nurse must be registered in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Possess the required knowledge skills and competence including a high standard of clinical and administrative ability to perform the duties effectively.
- Demonstrate professional knowledge and experience within the general scope of nursing practice.
- Urology or Urodynamics nursing experience is desirable.
