We are hiring a Staff Nurse Day Surgery for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Utilise assessment skills to determine patient needs on admission and continually monitor patient condition.
- Document nursing assessments and care plans accurately updating them as required.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualised care plans based on best practice and patient needs.
- Provide safe timely and evidence-based nursing care performing procedures according to policy.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient-centred care.
- Advocate for patients respecting their dignity confidentiality and individual needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients families and colleagues reporting relevant information appropriately.
- Participate in professional development training education of learners and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to legal requirements hospital policies infection control standards and clinical governance principles.
- Demonstrate flexibility professionalism and accountability including assisting in other areas and taking on additional responsibilities when required.
Requirements
Registered in the General Division of An Bord Altranais (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland NMBI).
Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
