Role Overview

A skilled and reliable Drainage Engineer is sought to support the maintenance installation and repair of drainage systems. The position involves hands-on technical work troubleshooting faults and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires a proactive team player capable of managing both independent and collaborative tasks within a close-knit operational team.

Key Responsibilities

Install maintain and repair drainage components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Conduct CCTV inspections to identify and diagnose issues within drainage systems.
Unblock drains using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
Evaluate existing drainage conditions to recommend improvements or required upgrades.
Work with colleagues contractors and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Complete job cards with accurate details regarding labour materials and time spent.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (1 in 3 weeks).

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in drainage operations or a related field (minimum 1 year preferred).
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Sound plumbing knowledge is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
CSCS card (preferred).
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

Additional Details

40-hour work week required.
Work is primarily site-based.
Candidates must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate to the Lincoln area.
