RENTMONSTER-the energetic fun and ambitious Apartment Leasing Servicein the Birmingham market is looking to fill one Leasing &Relocation Consultant position immediately.

We bring Birmingham apartment communities pre-qualified service is totally free to the resident. The properties pay us acommission from their advertising budgets for bringing them aqualified resident that leases there.

The right person can make a very nice living while surrounded bya supportive family of colleagues.

Like most real estate jobs this is a commission-based position.You will have control over what you earn. The commissions are excellent and the quarterly bonus can be SWEET!

We provide you with training leads and the hottest new tools andsystems to be successful.

It is imperative that you love helping people and possessthe following three traits:

1. People Oriented-- You enjoy working with awide range of people from diverse backgrounds to achieve win-winoutcomes.

2. Urgency-- You tend to respond quickly and makefast accurate decisions.

3. Versatility-- You have the natural ability toswitch gears quickly dropping an unfinished project and movingsmoothly to the next more urgent thing.

You MUST:
Like music and kittens.
Begenuinely enthusiastic about living in Birmingham and able to conveythat to others.
Work quickly when a new lead comes in toconvert it to a lease.
Be politely assertive and confidentin your apartment industry expertise and market knowledge to besthelp those who are having difficulty coming to a decision on theirapartment selection.
Listen well.
Have a winningattitude.
Communicate effectively.
Maintain aprofessional appearance.
Be ambitious and motivated.
Be able to perform the physical functions of this position likewalking large properties including four or five flights of stairsduring apartment tours. Your Fitbit will love you.
Bewilling to occasionally stay late start early and work on theweekends.
Make sure that everyone who works with you walksaway with a pleasant experience even if you arent able to find theirperfect home.
Have a good driving record as well as aclean reliable insured vehicle.
Own and know how to use acomputer and smartphone like its 2022.
Be familiar withcommon social media platforms such as Facebook Instagram SnapchatTwitter etc.

Be cool.

Duties:
Advertise apartments online. (Dontworry well teach you.)
Drive prospective residents in yourvehicle to multiple identified apartment communities so they canselect which one will be their new home.
Help promote on social media as well ascome up with awesome ideas for it.
Pump up the entireleasing team and be stoked to help people find the next place wherethey will spend the next years of their lives... and sometimes theirfamilys lives too!!
Brainstorm new ways to market thecompany and implement those ideas.
Answer incoming callse-mails and text messages quickly.

Education:

A PhD from Stanford is preferred but not required. ;-)

Working Conditions:

You will have a furnished workspace at Monster Castle (our building)in Five Points South. You will be surrounded by your team ofMonsters who are as much a family as we are a company. Thisopportunity does offer some flexible hours. Although you are notrequired to be in the office from 9 to 5 every day you are requiredto have a burning desire to succeed by being in the office everyminute you can! If you dont have that this isnt going to be a good fit. If you do well youre almost home! Get that resume over to us!
