About the Job
Today we have an opening for a Maintenance Operator at our Halifax Biosolids plant.
Our philosophy to biosolids management is simple complete the cycle. We recover the valuable resources contained in this waste and return them to the earth where they belong.
The high standard of our services technology and environmental stewardship sets us apart from others in the industry and has created fast-paced growth across Canada.
What Youll Be Doing
- Compliance monitoring;
- Daily data entry;
- Operate and maintain process equipment;
- Ensure all regular/preventative maintenance is performed and documented;
- Maintain inventory of tools replacement parts and supplies;
- Document daily processing parameters;
- Maintain plant cleanliness and organization.
Heres What You Need
- Grade 12 graduate with some post-secondary training preferred. Post-secondary students in engineering/technology skilled trades environmental science or other related fields will also be considered.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have a mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
- Familiarity with analytical sampling methods for environmental compliance monitoring.
