Structural Field Engineer

Play an integral role in delivering industrial projects with precision and accountability. As a Structural Field Engineer you help ensure that reported progress truly reflects what is built in the field keeping complex projects on track and strengthening the trust placed in us by our clients. Your work directly supports informed decision-making accurate billing and overall project integrityall while contributing to a culture built on safety respect and technical excellence.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for validating installed structural quantitiesincluding steel concrete and foundationswhile supporting project controls billing and progress reporting. Your expertise ensures that project data is accurate timely and aligned with real-world construction progress.

Core Responsibilities

Validate installed structural quantities against progress claims to ensure accuracy.
Maintain detailed logs of installed steel concrete and structural elements for reporting billing and earned value measurement.
Identify investigate and document variances between reported and actual quantities.
Work closely with field supervision and project controls teams to deliver precise weekly structural quantity reporting.
Promote safe field practices and ensure compliance with company and site safety standards.
Provide guidance on structural quantity surveying systems processes and tools supporting colleagues and troubleshooting as needed.
Prepare clear reports presentations and recommendations for stakeholders.

What youll bring to the role

A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Typically 7 years of experience in industrial construction field supervision or project controls.
Strong hands-on knowledge of structural steel concrete and foundations in the field.
Proven ability to work effectively in the field while applying analytical and reporting skills.
Experience supervising or leading within your discipline is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
A solid understanding of structural field systems processes and tools with the ability to coach and troubleshoot as needed.
