Job Summary and Responsibilities
Assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ OB Provider. Held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission vision and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
- Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs CPR assist provider with treatment when appropriate clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization collect urine specimens and phlebotomy
- Assists in making observations gathering data and identifying patient care needs
- Assists with patient transports and transfers
- Answer telephones filing greet patients/visitors transcribe providers orders electronic data entry and assist with documentation
- Assists with cleaning stocking and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
- Practices safe work habits compliance with safety rules and regulations and adheres to safety policies
- Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines policies and procedures
Job Requirements
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant; North Dakota required upon hire.
