Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist - Workday
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid Onsite 4 days per week)
Permanent Position
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support core HR functions such as onboarding recruitment compensation employee relations benefits administration and engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and retention. This role plays a key part in supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday including data migration system testing user training and daily HRIS operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Workday HRIS experience required
- Strong understanding of HR principles and employment practices
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in public sector nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings candidate screening and pre-employment processes
- Assist with employee onboarding engagement and recognition programs
- Track and coordinate employee leaves accommodations and workers compensation cases
- Provide guidance on HR policies employee relations and performance management matters
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual HR reports
- Manage HRIS transactions data integrity and reporting
