There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).

CHI is a shared services center providing transactional processing and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting information technology supply chain management human resources downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998 CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building Makati City Philippines.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Accounts Receivable Billing and Reporting:

• Prepare and send accurate invoices to trade and non-trade customers
• Follow up with customers on past-due accounts
• Ensures that cash receipts/collections are applied to the correct customer account
• Generate and analyze reports such as AR aging and sales statistics report
• Process month-end closing (MEC) activities
• Calculates and post revenue accrual entries
• Prepares royalty calculations and related reports to Tax Authorities
• Accounts reconciliation of Trade Receivables Allowance for Doubtful Accounts and Miscellaneous AR accounts
• Ensures compliance with relevant SOX controls

Special Projects or Ad Hoc Tasks

• Supports the stabilization of newly migrated processes
• Application of productivity tools and emerging technologies as opportunities arise (Data Modelling Power Automate Powerapps RPA Data Analytics etc.); apply to all existing processes as applicable
• Continuous improvement on all processes above
• Coordination role within the team for IUAS-wide projects initiatives or periodic routine tasks

General Administrative Tasks

• Ensures adherence to all safety and compliance requirements
• Sets performance agreements and monitor results through Performance Management Process
• Take part in professional development activities by attending trainings and reading relevant materials
• Maintains updated process documentation
• Ensures all accounting records and supporting documents relating to the processes are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and companys retention policy
• Attends relevant meetings

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting and other Accounting related courses

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical teamwork and customer engagement skills

• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive results-oriented and customer-focused environment

• Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in S4 Hana is an advantage but not required.

• Strong Accounts Payable background is preferred.
