Job Summary

Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)

Seeking an MLS or MLT generalist for mid-shift support in busy clinical this position you will offer support for Chemistry Hematology and Urinalysis as needed. Play a vital role in patient care through accurate testing quality control and equipment maintenance. Youll perform routine lab analyses ensure compliance with safety protocols and support instrument operations and staff training.

Schedule: 12pm - 8:30pm Monday through Friday with weekend rotation.

Hiring Range for MLS: $35.70/hour - $48.00/hour actual rate commensurate with experience.

Hiring Range for MLT: $30.60/hour - $41.00/hour actual rate commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine lab tests and report results accurately and on time
Maintain and calibrate lab instruments; perform quality control procedures
Document and communicate critical values and abnormal results
Assist with instrument validation troubleshooting and staff training
Support special projects and contribute to procedure development

Education and Experience:

Completion of an accredited MLS or MLT program.
ASCP certification required.
1 year of clinical lab experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail communication and teamwork skills.
Must pass visual color discrimination testing.

Pay Range:

$30.01 - $45.02
