Job Description:

Exam preparation revision invigilation and processing (photocopying distribution collection filing online posting when required); assist the instructor in the organization of the course; attend and prepare lectures; research material for the course (library internet departmental resources); assist students (individually or in groups; hold office hours); maintain MyCourses (uploading research upkeep of webpage); Discussion Board/Social media supervision.

Qualifications:

Registered graduate student in Hispanic Studies; experience working with computers internet and scanners; Adequate knowledge of the political cultural and social history of both Spain and Latin America is a must; knowledge of web publisher or MyCourses (WebCT) an asset (must be willing to be trained by McGill IT); excellent organization and communication skills. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English.
