St Leonards College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Spanish Teacher to join our College community on a part time (approximate FTE of 0.60) fixed term basis for Term 1 and Term 2 in 2026.
Reporting to the Head of Learning Languages the role will be responsible for teaching Spanish subjects across Years 5 to 8 in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Spanish).
- Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
