Starting Salary Range: * $70000-$92500 annually.

We are seeking a School Social Worker to support the Laradon School. Reporting to the School Director this role will support Laradons mission byworking collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health and behavioral services that strengthen student skills and decrease barriers to learning. Provides support to classrooms students and their families.

No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:

• Provide school-based counseling services to Laradon students in one on one and group settings.

• Develop and implement affective education student groups.

• Collaborate with student families school and district teams in the development of Individual Education Program (IEP) goals and behavior intervention plans (BIP).

• Administer score and interpret social emotional/behavioral assessments and gather developmental histories for IEPs.

• Plan organize and produce school wide programs that promote positive student behaviors and school culture.

• Maintain records and complete documentation according to Laradon procedures Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) rules.

• Provide consultation and support to classrooms regarding mental health trauma informed care and behavioral interventions.

• Masters in Social Work with coursework inspecial education law and behavior intervention
• Current Colorado Department of Education License for Special Service Provider School Social Worker required.
• 3 years of treatment-oriented experience.
• Experience supporting children with special needs preferably in a school or day treatment setting.
• Experience working with a multidisciplinary team preferred.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Ability to supervise
