Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminarys campus the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The Wedding Facilitator Aide supports the lead wedding coordinator in the planning preparation and execution of wedding events. This role is ideal for someone who is organized customer-service oriented and thrives in fast-paced environments. The aide works behind the scenes and on-site during weddings to ensure that the event runs smoothly from setup through cleanup. Responsibilities include assisting vendors managing schedules supporting the wedding party and handling unexpected challenges with professionalism and calm.
Assist the lead wedding coordinator in executing the event timeline and ensuring all logistics are on track
Help with setup and breakdown of ceremony and reception spaces including décor seating signage etc.
Serve as a point of contact for vendors (e.g. florist DJ photographer) to ensure smooth arrival and setup
Greet and assist guests as needed providing directions or answering questions
Help manage the wedding partys movement and timing (e.g. lineup for ceremony photo sessions)
Run errands during the event (e.g. retrieving items communicating between parties)
Respond quickly to any issues or emergencies during the event with discretion and professionalism
Monitor cleanliness and organization of the venue throughout the event
Support post-event cleanup and inventory checks if required
Experience: Previous experience in events customer service or hospitality preferred but not required

Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle last-minute changes
Physical stamina for long hours on your feet and occasional lifting
Team player with a proactive can-do attitude
