Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of custom manufacturing and commercial furniture projects from concept to completion. This role requires technical expertise strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing client expectations production timelines and quality standards.
Youll serve as the key link between clients designers sales teams and fabrication partners ensuring that every detail drawing and component aligns with design intent and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from quote preparation order entry tracking coordinating delivery and client experience.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings elevations and specifications (CET/CAD)
- Manage client communications RFIs and approvals with professionalism and clarity
- Coordinate with internal teams design sales production and logistics to meet key milestones
- Oversee fabrication assembly and finishing to maintain quality standards and brand integrity
- Anticipate project risks and implement proactive measures to keep timelines on track
- Support the Brand VP and leadership team on reporting scheduling and process improvements
- Manage national account projects and ensure consistent client experience across multiple locations
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Minimum 35 years experience in Project Management within commercial furniture architectural manufacturing or design
- Proficiency in CAD or CET Designer (or similar design software)
- Strong technical background and ability to interpret design documentation
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across design production and client teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in warehouse manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Confident managing conflict problem-solving and making data-driven decisions
- Professional demeanor integrity and a commitment to client satisfaction
- Enthusiasm for design accountability for results and pride in craftsmanship
