Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort Opening 2026
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Director of Human Resources to join the executive leadership team of the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort a new resort opening in 2026 on Moroccos breathtaking Atlantic coast.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture talent strategy and HR operations of a pre-opening hotel. As a key business partner to the General Manager and the broader leadership team you will lead all aspects of Human Resources - from talent acquisition and workforce planning to employee engagement and development - ensuring alignment with Marriotts brand values and owner priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the propertys HR strategy in alignment with business goals
- Lead recruitment onboarding and succession planning for all departments
- Champion employee engagement training and performance management
- Oversee compensation strategy and ensure compliance with labor standards
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a culture ambassador for the resort
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of 24 years experience in HR leadership within hospitality or a related industry
- Proven ability to lead change influence stakeholders and build high-performing teams
- Experience in hotel pre-openings or new property launches is a strong advantage
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Strong understanding of Moroccan labor law and employment practices
