Job Summary
To provide quality patient care to postpartum women and new-born patients and to support the breastfeeding experience.
Qualifications :
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification required at time of hire
- Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience as an IBCLC required
- 3-5 years experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient care for breastfeeding preferred
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification preferred
- Preferred candidates will demonstrate ongoing professional development through recognized courses in Maternal and/or Newborn Nursing (e.g. Perinatal Nursing Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work with families
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize
- Good team player
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional Information :
Hours of Work: Monday-Sunday(hours subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $41.78 to $58.02 per hour
