The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is seeking a full-time associate.
We are looking for a clinical maternal fetal medicine (MFM) physician to expand our high-risk pregnancy services. The applicant will be skilled at performing and reading obstetrical ultrasound. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Accountabilities:
- Work with our MFM specialists and nurse practitioner to support the growing need for high-risk perinatal services
- Along with the MFM team lead the design and development of a strong MFM program in connection with our medical university partners
- Provide MFM consultative services at Brampton Civic Hospital and support the OB services at Etobicoke General Hospital
- Help to develop an OB medicine program with our internist colleagues and collaborate with our Radiology Department
Brampton Civic Hospitals Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department serves a large and diverse community with more than 5500 deliveries per year. We are supported by an on-site level 2c NICU. We are the primary site for the Toronto Metropolitan University medical school and will be supporting a new academic residency program in OBGYN in 2026.
Qualifications :
- License to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Certification in Obstetrics from the College of Physicians of Canada and have a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of attendance punctuality and accountability

- Expertise in clinical teaching or clinical research preferred for those interested in education or research
