The Senior Director of Maintenance is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance activities across our national network of travel centers. This role is accountable for the performance reliability and continuous improvement of facility and fuel maintenance operations ensuring a safe clean and efficient environment for guests and team members. The Senior Director will lead a multi-disciplinary team including the maintenance services call center for facilities and fuel the field technician teams for corrective and preventive maintenance maintenance analytics and asset management. This leader will define the long-term vision set the strategic roadmap and ensure execution excellence through cross-functional collaboration technology optimization and workforce leadership.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with company objectives growth plans and customer expectations. Oversee the planning prioritization and execution of all maintenance activities across the companys locations.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all areas of maintenance operations.
- Lead coach and develop a high-performing team across the maintenance organization.
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance goals support the broader business strategy.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective response to maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships contracts and third-party services to ensure high-quality standards and compliance.
- Utilize maintenance analytics to drive data-informed decisions and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to assess equipment reliability team productivity cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or service quality.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business or related field or ten years operations maintenance experience required
- Master of Business Administration Preferred
- Five or more years in relationship management role or externally facing operational leadership position required.
