Job Summary
The Teacher Aide supports classroom teachers in creating a positive faith-filled and productive learning environment. The aide assists with instructional tasks student supervision and classroom organization while modeling Christian values and supporting the Catholic mission of the school.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials setting up activities and organizing classroom supplies.
Provide individual or small group support to students under the direction of the teacher.
Supervise students in the classroom hallways playground cafeteria and during arrival/dismissal times.
Help maintain a clean safe and orderly classroom environment.
Support students academic social and emotional development in a manner consistent with Catholic values.
Encourage respectful and responsible student behavior in line with the schools discipline policies.
Attend school liturgies assemblies and special events as needed.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and school matters.
Communicate professionally with students parents teachers and staff.
Job Requirements
Prior experience working with children in a school or daycare setting preferred.
Practicing Catholic preferred; non-Catholics must be supportive of Catholic mission and values.
Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt to different classroom needs.
