Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) the patient sitter provides constant observation of patients that have been identified as needing a higher level of observation due to safety concerns.

Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
- 1 year in health care setting preferred.
