JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Radiology Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the radiology department. This role ensures efficient workflow optimal staffing and administrative coordination to support high-quality imaging services. The supervisor works closely with clinical non-clinical and administrative teams to maintain compliance enhance patient experience and support departmental goals.
The Radiology Operations Supervisor oversees both clinical and non-clinical areas.
EDUCATION:
Associates or bachelors degree in healthcare administration Business or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
Strong organizational problem-solving and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in scheduling systems EMR platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with radiology workflows and terminology.
Experience with productivity metrics and staffing models.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. Joint Commission HIPAA)
