Job Family - Mechanical Engineering: Directs and coordinates fabrication installation operation application maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines equipment tools engines and systems. Ensures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. Oversees installation operation maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralised heat gas water and steam systems. Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost-effectiveness and efficiency. May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions. Qualified engineer. Job Family Group - Engineering: Performs engineering work in operations production or maintenance environments. Designs and scales up manufacturing processes instruments and equipment and tests manufactured products to maintain quality. Plans designs and estimates time and cost and oversees maintenance of structures facilities systems and components. Analyses and develops solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures. Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues within the engineering field.
- To maintain EHS and GMP norms for all the tasks carried out as well as ensure awareness and adherence
- To work on shift as outlined in Haleon CA as per required by Haleon business needs
- To attend daily / shiftly direction setting meetings (or when requested by manager)
- Responsible for self capability development on assigned equipment
- Responsible and answerable over losses related to assigned equipment conditions
- Perform PM tasks (Preventive Maintenance BDA) based on the required schedule or requirement on the assigned equipment
- Attend to Breakdown of the assigned equipment on a timely manner (target to be aligned with manager)
- Support on AM tasks (equipment defect resolution equipment inspection and lubrication equipment skills transfer to operators)
- Carry out any continuous improvement tasks related to assigned equipment in alignment with the Site CBN objectives and targets
- To manage tools and spare parts for the assigned equipment
- Supervise job or work done by external contractors in line with management safety and legal requirement
