THE ROLE
WSSSA have an opportunity for a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist to join the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) on a part time basis. The successful applicant will work 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week) on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2026 with further extension subject to funding.
The DVDS is a state-wide program that enables people to lodge a request to SAPOL where they are concerned about the behaviour of someone within the context of an intimate relationship. After receipt of referral the DFV Specialist makes initial contact with the applicant facilitates the information with SAPOL and provides support and referrals to the clients. This role will cover the Adelaide metropolitan region as well as the Barossa Fleurieu Kangaroo Island Adelaide Hills and Light.
