How youll contribute

ACertified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office as well as:

  • Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physician or nurse.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies including reordering stocking cleaning and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including filing reception scheduling data entry and patient registration.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.

What were looking for

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred; Associates degree Preferred
  • License: CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
