Job Summary
Workshop Operative
Location: Carlisle
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am 5:00pm (Saturday overtime available)
Pay rate: 12.60 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit mechanical components to create completesystems
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality
- Assist with packing loading and general workshop duties
- Keep the workshop area clean tidy and well organised
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
About you:
- Previous experience in a workshop assembly or manufacturing environment preferred
- Confident using hand tools and following assembly instructions
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality
- Physically fit and comfortable with practical hands-on work
- Reliable motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willing to work occasional Saturday overtime when required
