Position Summary:

Freestone Lake and Golf is one of our new developments and we are growing! We are looking for Fine Dining Restaurant Cooks responsible for executing precise high-quality food preparation and presentation in a fast-paced upscale kitchen environment. This role demands culinary skill attention to detail cleanliness and consistency to meet the exacting standards of a fine dining establishment.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a high-end or fine dining kitchen preferred

  • Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques kitchen tools and food safety

  • Ability to follow recipes with consistency and precision

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred



Physical Demands:

Ability to work all shifts when required during the day nights weekends and holidays.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Walking standing some lifting up to 25-50 lbs.


Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurants recipes quality standards and plating guidelines

  • Work a designated station (e.g. grill sauté garde manger pastry) with accuracy and efficiency

  • Ensure ingredients and mise en place are fresh properly stored and prepped ahead of service

  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness sanitation and organization in all kitchen areas

  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food delivery during service

  • Follow safe food handling procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations

  • Monitor food inventory and communicate low stock or quality concerns to the Sous Chef or Chef

  • Uphold the restaurants standards for professionalism appearance and teamwork
