Were looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with proven experience building driving and operating cloud services at a deep technical level. This is a hands-on role suited for engineers eager to build in distributed systems.
Responsibilities
As a member of the OCI Platform Service team you will partner with product and other engineering teams to define design and deliver cross-functional solutions across a suite of services responsible for the successful and secure operation of OCI cloud services. You will write code to build and run these services deliver customer-focused outcomes operate services in production troubleshoot issues and support our customers.
Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of software development experience.
Strong coding skills in Java or similar OO language.
Proven experience delivering features/services across the full SDLC.
Working knowledge of large-scale distributed services; familiarity with cloud concepts is a plus.
Experience operating production services (on-call/incident response exposure preferred).
Systematic problem-solving clear communication strong sense of ownership and drive.
Foundational design experienceable to contribute to component designs and reviews (not required to be an architecture expert).
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Comfortable working in a collaborative agile environment.
