Who Were Looking For:

The St. James is hiringPart-Time Gymnastics Coaches and Assistant Coachesfor our Springfield VA location. Were looking for individuals who enjoy working with athletes of all skill levelsfrom beginners to advancedand are passionate about creating a supportive motivating environment that fosters growth goal-setting and a love for gymnastics. This position reports to the Director of Gymnastics.

Responsibilities

Coach and instruct athletes individually and in groups using proper techniques and equipment
Assist the Director and coaching staff with athlete supervision during meets showcases and events
Lead or support training sessions for both boys and girls
Help maintain training equipment and supplies
Build positive relationships with athletes families and members of The St. James community
Prioritize the safety of all members guests and staff

Qualifications

Minimum2 years of coaching experience(1 year for Assistant Coaches); leadership experience preferred
Level 3 coaching and tumbling experience are a plus
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Excellent customer service verbal and written communication skills
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in sports and wellness
