Job Summary
Are you passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful results Tetra Pak is looking for an R&D Project Manager to lead the execution of development projects that shape the future of food processing. Based in Lund you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and aligned with strategic goals.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a global cross-functional environment where your leadership and project management skills will contribute to sustainable innovation and excellence.
What you will do
As an R&D Project Manager you will:
- Lead development projects from initiation to deployment ensuring alignment with strategic portfolio goals.
- Apply agile project management frameworks to drive iterative product development.
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans and milestones.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments and develop contingency strategies.
- Maintain transparent communication with R&D teams Key Components Filtration Factory Sustainable Solutions and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Interface with service manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure product design meets operational needs.
- Track and report project progress using tools like Jira and Planview.
- Organize and facilitate key meetings including backlog reviews and product solution governance.
- Analyze performance trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure mandatory documentation and KPIs are up to date and aligned with governance standards.
- Act as a Business Expert in the PC3.0 process and participate in cross-sector R&D initiatives.
We believe you have
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Proven experience in project management within R&D or product development.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Technical aptitude to understand product design and development processes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira Planview and other project tracking systems.
- PMP Certification is plus
