Fantastic opportunity to work with a brand new team under the Thames Water Contract! This role would be based out of the southern region and will require you to work away from home depending on the location of the project. As this role is based on projects we take on we will require you to be flexible with hours. Hotels are provided by the company and transport is discussed.
Salary: 48000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm
Location: Chalgrove Chertsey region
Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays
Overtime paid at 1.25x
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery
- Ensure all H&S requirements are followed
- Assistingthe Project Supervisor working on andoperatingour combined sewer jetting/vacuumationunits to carry out jetting andvacuumationworks.
- Rotating equipment pattern
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear drains sewers and pipework.
- Remove waste materials from the waste water.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.
- Learn to complete job sheets risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) under supervision.
- Ad-hoc tasks given by the Project manager
Experience and capabilities:
- HGV license (no experience needed)
- DISAB
- HPWJA
- High risk
- Desirable Screener
- Desirable Grab Lorry
- Desirable Porta Reel
