Whats on offer

Our Pipelines Department is looking to appoint a Senior Plant Operator to undertake deep excavation duties within the sewer & water construction crews.

Based in Pakenham but operating across VIC this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful team.

In this role youll be responsible for:

  • Operation of Excavators completing plant pre-start inspections & reporting maintenance issues.
  • Safe set up of job sites in accordance with worksite supervisors requirements and being involved in JSEA / Pre-Start forms
  • Being involved in Ground Penetration Permits (GPP) including interpreting BYD plans and locating underground assets before works commence
  • Maintenance of plant to ensure they are kept clean and in safe working order
  • Reporting day to day productivity and issues through to engineers and supervisors
  • Implementing environmental controls in accordance with site CEMPs.

How youll connect to the role:

  • Experience in earthmoving and excavation (min 3 years)
  • Experience in working in residential and commercial environments
  • A good understanding of maintenance required for designation machinery
  • White Card / Relevant Plant Tickets
  • Adopting and drivingFulton Hogans Living Safely Culture.
