An ambitious Good primary in Birmingham is seeking a confident and creative Year 4 Teacher to join its KS2 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will take part in pre-term planning prior to the January 2026 start attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher. Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver well-sequenced maths and English lessons as the Year 4 Teacher.
Use data and assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.
Lead cross-curricular projects extracurricular clubs and support transition work as the Year 4 Teacher.
Engage with parents attend events and contribute to whole-school improvement from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements
QTS and strong KS2 experience expected of the Year 4 Teacher.
A Year 4 Teacher with proven subject knowledge strong behaviour strategies and a collaborative approach.
Ready to prepare before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.

Curriculum leadership & development for the Year 4 Teacher
The Year 4 Teacher will have opportunities to lead a subject strand develop schemes of learning and mentor colleagues within the KS2 phase. The Year 4 Teacher will participate in subject development meetings beginning prior to January 2026 and will contribute to the schools improvement plan after the January 2026 start. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role allows the Year 4 Teacher to refine assessment practice and to trial research-informed approaches.
